Last night saw KBDi’s first Sydney chapter event for 2013. It followed the Brisbane event the night before and the Melbourne event will happen tonight. Held in conjunction with Blum and Schweigen at Blum’s Sydney head office, attendees enjoyed drinks and nibbles before the presentations commenced.
After introductions from Blum and Schweigen, and a chance to take a look at some new products hitting our shores in the near future, we also heard from Eileen Middleton, winner of the KBDi Design2012 Kitchen Designer of the Year Award. Eileen spoke eloquently about her start in the industry, why she enters awards programs, what it means for her business to win awards and where she finds inspiration for her designs. She also walked us through the fascinating story behind the kitchen which won her the coveted award.
More chapter events will be held next week in SA and WA to conclude this round of functions.
