Mixing it with Macassar

Having completed another successful exhibition at KIFF (The Kiev International Furniture Fair Held annually in the Ukraine) this week, Cesar, one of Italy’s leading kitchen manufacturers who has been making headlines since the late 60’s, showcased the “Elle VIP”. This stunning piece of work clearly demonstrates some of their senior designer’s fine attention to detail. Satin lacquered Macassar Ebony veneer with mitred doors and panels on the island, and unusually for European manufacturers, grain matched!

Gloss Buttered lacquered cabinetry with sleek polished 6mm stainless steel benchtops and wall hung floor cabinets, make this kitchen a real show stopper – as it was! I really like some of the little things in this product, the 100mm solid end panel on the oven run, the hood beautifully blended with the textured wall finishes and the chair, just a gorgeous piece of craftsmanship ideally placed and designed to accentuate the feeling of true workmanship.

Veneers, both textured and smooth, are being seen more and more, mixed correctly they create a beautiful, harmonious blend and define what Cesar is all about.
