Giant Russian whitegoods manufacturer, Antalov, caused a massive stir at the recent KITT electronics fair in the Ukraine by releasing papers and information on a prototype dishwasher that is capable of unloading itself!
Having worked closely with many of Western Europe’s leading kitchen design specialists and using their own highly resourced R & D department, head of product development Professor Michalai Seranovski, said their aim was to deliver a product that in a time poor society, assisted householders with the most menial of tasks – unloading the dishwasher.
In a rather vague press release, Antalov stated that the initial prototype necessitated pot and plate storage to the left and cutlery storage to the right. “It’s our aim to have a programmable model available by mid 2014, a dishwasher that the owner specifies where the cleaned units are to be placed, relative to the design of the kitchen, with the whole unloading process only adding 2 minutes 43 seconds to the overall programme time.”
Whilst images of this amazing advancement in technology are scarce, Antalov issued a somewhat blurred working drawing (if you can call it that), if anything else comes to hand, be sure that TKBB will get it to you straight away.
