Inner Design, the self-named “design network for interior design lovers” has recently completed a successful competition called “Inner Light Out” which attracted more than 200 projects from designers and architects from all over Europe. The challenge for each entrant was to design “an artifact or light installation capable of illuminating and stimulating everyone’s inner talent”.
The judging panel felt all entrants displayed very high design and artistic standards with diverse interpretations of the inspiring value of light and its power to set creativity free in everyday life. Judging was based on both the functional and artistic value along with the element of innovation and surprise.
