As we’ve already posted, this week is design week in Milan – a time to see and admire what some of the world’s modern thinkers are exhibiting in all imaginable branches of design. (And just quietly many go there just to be seen!).
I Salone is an annual event held at Rho Pero, however Milan Design Week extends across the entirety of Milan, including the world famous show grounds and provides a vehicle for over 3000 Italian and international exhibitors to demonstrate their creativity to the hungry eyes of the design community.
Yatzer.com is a website that has some amazing insights into the world of design and last year put a fascinating collection of images from Milan design week on their website. In 2012 the famous Salone Satellite which was curated by Marva Griffin Wilshire, who has been in charge since 1998, celebrated 15 years of commitment and faith in young creativity.
These are only a small collection of some of the most remarkable pieces featured in Yatzer’s presentation, we aim to bring you some of this year’s best exhibits very soon.
