The Grass is always greener!

GRASS_Dome_02We have shown you some of the products that were displayed at Interzum and sometimes there’s a feeling that the enormity of this great show is lost on some of our readers. Whilst Eurocucina attracts over 300,000 visitors, Interzum does less than a third of those numbers, but suppliers and exhibitors alike still put the same emphasis on the quality of their stands

GRASS_Stand_01One of my favourites at Interzum, purely from the perspective of effort leading to result, is what Grass did. With sales revenues of 299 million Euros in the financial year 2012, over 1,700 employees at 18 locations and more than 200 distributors in 60 countries, Grass ranks among the world’s leading specialists in movement systems. As development partner and systems supplier to the furniture industry, Grass has been creating products and services which inspire its customers for more than 65 years. Grass slide and drawer systems, hinge, flap and corner cabinet systems are brand-name products that move the furniture of prestigious brands.

GRASS_Stand_03Grass again highlighted its pursuit of the highest quality with the new designer drawer Vionaro. As well as viewing the various design
versions of Vionaro, visitors were also able to experience the product in a specially produced video. The “Circulum of movement” at the heart of
the exhibition stand was designed as a mirrored room of infinite reflections, which created the impression of being part of the presentation.
09_GRASS_Interzum_3“Our goal was to inspire visitors and to provide them with an unforgettable experience. We were very successful at making the desired impact
– as borne out by visitors to the show”, reports GRASS global brand manager Harald Klüh. A large number of additions and upgrades to the hinge, flap, corner cabinet and drawer systems were presented to the public on the 650 square-metre exhibition stand. Visitors were able to find out about the latest developments as well as the existing range in clearly structured product presentations. The rounded design concept for the stand provided the optimum setting for showcasing movement systems.

GRASS_Dome_01Grass chairman Ronald Weber sums up what was achieved at the trade fair: “Vionaro was one of the stars of the show at Interzum and helped
to attract high numbers of visitors. Both existing customers and prospects from around the globe took the opportunity to form their own impressions of the minimalist elegant design and high product quality. As well as receiving a very positive response we also acquired new
customers. We take great pride in the fact that our new product Vionaro was greeted with such an enthusiastic reception.”

But above all this pristine and well conceived stand was the attracting and appealing feature that drew many visitors to see what Grass had to offer. We will try and bring you more stand images as the come through!
