Ross Greenwood, the Finance Editor for the Nine Networks Today Show & Nine News and host of 2GB’s Money News, will be a key speaker at this year’s Building Better Cities Summit: Housing Australia’s Future.
The topic tackled by Ross will be ‘Where is Australia’s Appetite for New Housing?’ and is highly relevant to the challenges currently facing not only the housing industry, but also the broader community. With his experience in the finance sector and media both abroad and at home, Ross is well equipped to provide powerful insights to summit attendees.
Ross has been the editor of Business Review Weekly (BRW), Personal Investor and The Age’s money section. In television he was a presenter on Network 10’s Healthy Wealthy and Wise for five years and was the finance presenter for Good Morning Australia. He also hosted finance programs for ABC radio for eight years. In the private sector he has been a director of a sharemarket-listed investment company and for six years was chairman of the investment committee of the JUST superannuation fund.
Internationally, Ross has served as the editor-in-chief of the weekly UK magazine Shares, of which he was also one of the founders. His television experience in the UK includes having been a regular commentator on the BBC, CNN, Sky News and Bloomberg. He was also a presenter of the BBC Five Live’s key business program, Wake up to Money.
