Italian brand FontanaArte is renowned for its contribution to lighting and furnishing design. Founded in 1932 from a concept by Gio Ponti, the company works with architects and lighting designers to create visually stunning, functional lighting and furnishings.
The company says its aspiration is “to bring vital, intense and honest light to our surrounds. The kind of light that brings out the true spirit of space and the authentic essence of people”.
Australian company Café Culture is the distributor of FontanaArte on our East Coast through its showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. This new business arrangement allows Café Culture to further its goal to tell the story of Italian design and strengthen its existing range of lighting designs.
We’ve included a few of our favourites from the collection but the full range is on display at each showroom. I’m loving the Pangen light – for me, the shape and colour make this an immediate visual feature. It’s available in other colours but the richness of the orange makes it one of my top pics. Which ones do you love?
