The Italian Association for Industrial Design (ADI) together with Confindustria Ceramica has put together a retrospective on “Bathroom Excellence” from 1998 to 2012 which will be exhibited during the international trade fair Cersaie (currently being held in Bologna, Italy).
The exhibition explores the evolution of bathroom fittings and furnishings as curated by ADI Design Index – as explained on the Cersaie website “the evolution is also intended as a reflection of the modern habits and traditions” in bathroom design.
A number of items from the Ilbagno Alessi One by Laufen range, designed by Stefano Giovannoni have been chosen for inclusion. More than 160 products created by more than 80 companies and 110 renowned designers are featured in the exhibition. A full list of participating companies can be found here.
The four Alessi products chosen are the 81197.1 washbasin with integrated pedestal, 83097.1 wall-hung bidet, 82097.6 washdown wall-hung WC and the 84097.1 siphonic urinal (pictured here).
