Sublime Architectural Interiors – Brisbane

Sublime is recognised as one of Queensland’s most innovative and progressive kitchen and bathroom designer businesses.  We complete designs national and manage projects to completions throughout south east Queensland.

We are currently looking to fill a role as an Assistant Designer.  Working to assist our Principal Designer in their day to day tasks such as:

  • Prepare initial concepts and designs for Kitchens, Bathrooms and other joinery using our software;
  • Prepare accurate estimates for presentation to our clients;
  • Source and order components and products required to complete projects;
  • Assist the Principal in his day to day communications with clients and other project stakeholders to keep them abreast of the progress of the project through to completion.

This role is an entry level position with a development pathway for someone looking to become a kitchen or bathroom designer.   You will be required to demonstrate experience using CAD design software and have completed studies in Built Environment, Interior Design, Architecture etc.

You may not have direct experience in a commercial environment in kitchen or bathroom designer however you need to possess the following skills/attributes:

  • Skills using CAD based design software
  • Strong understands measuring and conceptual planning
  • Able to work autonomously within strict deadlines
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Dedication to a career in design – you may be required to complete work after hours if timeframes are not meet.

Artline Kitchens – Sydney

One of Australia’s largest kitchen manufacturers is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Designer to join the team in a busy and rewarding role.

Ideally, we are seeking an individual with demonstrated experience in kitchen design and colour selection.

This position is the Hills/Norwest area, where the successful applicant will be responsible for scheduling appointments, designing kitchens, and assisting with selections regarding materials and colours.

The role incorporates dealing predominately with new home builders, as part of the pre-construction process. All appointments regarding design and colour selections are completed in a design studio.

You will need to demonstrate

  • A sound ability in using Kitchen Design Software such as Cabinet Vision and able to from and interpret construction plans
  • A flair for working with colour and design
  • Impeccable presentation, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

The position includes both a fixed salary and working hours.

Harvey Norman Renovations – Sydney

As a market leader and currently experiencing a strong sales growth, we require the services of an energetic and experienced Sales Manager, to develop and mentor the team.

Harvey Norman Design and Renovations has been renovating kitchens and bathrooms for Sydney customers for over 30 years and we showcase our leading kitchen and bathroom displays in our Alexandria and Auburn Superstores.

As the Sales Manager, you will be required to perform the following duties:

  • Provide leadership to the sales team (designers) across Sydney
  • Train and develop the sales team
  • Ensure all showrooms, showroom consultants and designers are presented according to company standards
  • Implement a continuous improvement process
  • Provide continual new product awareness
  • Continue and expand ongoing supplier relationships
  • Control and manage all enquiries from the consumer
  • Produce and act upon analytical data stemming from lead and sales
  • Achieve sales budgets and set targets
  • Develop and manage relationships with all sales staff and clients

The successful candidates must have the following experience and skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, minimum 5 years
  • Previous experience in a retail or domestic sales environment, kitchen o bathroom renovations experience would be highly regarded
  • Self motivated to achieve KPI’s and results
  • The ability to lead and mentor teams
  • Exceptional communication skills –verbal, listening and written
  • A strong team ethic and a passion for delivering high Customer Service
  • Computer literate with intermediate MS Office
