In time for the 2013 festive season, Vintec Australia has launched a new two-door, two-zone wine cabinet to complement its borderless black glass ‘NOIR’ range, created late last year. Combining two independent temperature zones with two separate doors, the Vintec V40DG2EBK is the ideal wine storage cabinet for cellaring wines and keeping a selection of whites and champagnes chilled for service – making it perfect for entertaining this summer.
Thanks to the two separate doors, “drink now” wines can be readily accessed at any time without the risk of disturbing the “drink later” wines which have been laid to rest in the cellaring compartment. As an alternative use, both compartments can be used for keeping wines at ideal drinking temperatures: one for reds (e.g. set at 16°-18°) and one for whites (e.g. set at 6°-8°).
This new model has been designed with the same minimalist look and “purity” of design which is the result of Vintec working closely with Australian interior designers and Vintec’s Danish designers. Indeed, the V40DG2EBK features the Vintec ‘NOIR’ range’s edge-to-edge black glass doors, crystal white LED lighting and has no protruding handles – making it a stylish addition to any modern kitchen.
The main features of the unit include a 42-bottle capacity (750ml standard Bordeaux bottles), two doors and two independent temperature compartments which can range from 6
- ° to 18°, high energy efficiency and a lock.
