Molteni&C and Dada will be at the upcoming Salone del Mobile/Eurocucina with two new designs.
Gliss-Up from Molteni&C is a fully-suspended bedroom system designed by Patricia Urquiola and includes a chest of drawers, drawers and other storage space, suspended shelves, and a variety of accessories. Available in a wide range of materials and finishes it has a clear functionality as well as an aesthetically pleasing appeal.
Here’s what Molteni&C says about the new product: “Gliss-Up looks at the wardrobe from an asymmetrical point of view, transforming it from a once cumbersome item of furniture into something light and airy”. I’d have to say I agree with this assessment. Love its simplicity and style.
Vela by Dada is designed by Dante Donuccelli as an updated version of the original classic design. With slim, barely perceptible 12mm-thick doors, Vela exhibits cutting edge technology and includes a new mechanism for the open and closing of the doors. In this new version of the design, the handles have become a graphic feature of the kitchen which emphasise the horizontal lines. Countertops are slender to match the doors with overlapping lines that cleverly conceal any manufacturing technology applied. Surfaces include Eucalyptus wood panelling with a horizontal grain as well as a new selection of tough and tactile high-pressure laminates.
