Simply because Italian style is on my mind, here is “Oro” – a limited edition range of Teuco bathware from Delsa. Literally translated, Oro means gold in English and the collection is so named because of its opulent use of this gleaming finish.
Designed by Carlo Colombo, Oro features luxurious 24k gold leaf features within two sub-collections: Accademia and Autoritratti.
Oro Accademia is a marriage of classic style and sophisticated design with a lovely combination of material and shape for a visually arresting collection. The range includes bathtubs, console wash basins, toilet suits and bidets. As described by Teuco, Accademia is “design that oozes with avant-garde and nostalgic appeal”.
Part of the collection’s appealing aesthetic is the use of an innovative acrylic-based composit material which has been patented by Teuco. Duralight® enables the company to implement complex and curved forms as well as large objects without joins. The result is a long-lasting, visually-appealing, non-toxic, easy-clean surface with a pleasing tactile sensation.
Oro Autoritratti has been designed to enhance the use of the metallic highlights in the form of fixtures and bathroom furniture. Included in this collection are gold floor-standing mixers, wall-mounted lever mixers, hand showers, wall lamps, mirrors, chandeliers, shower doors, shower trays, cabinets and sanitary fixtures.
Teuco is exclusively available from and distributed nationally by Delsa. For more information visit www.delsa.com.au
