Ready for display at iSalone next month in Milan is a new collection of mosaics from Bisazza. This ingeniously-crafted range captures the essence of iconic Emilio Pucci prints and applies them in new and exciting ways.

This new venture between the two brands celebrates both the Bisazza and Emilio Pucci names – recognised internationally for their signature use of pattern and colour in sophisticated, daring and elegant pairings.

Interpreted in generously proportioned mosaics, the new Bisazza collection draws upon details from original prints signed by the Marquis Emilio Pucci and transforms the famous designs into virtual “blowups” of swirling color – new, stylistically-refined decor pieces, created to “dress-up” the trendiest interiors.

Alba, Amelie and Onde are recreated with motifs of geometric patters and striking colours that reflect the timeless aesthetic so closely associated with the house of Pucci.

Alba, originally designed in 2006, is a visually bold, floral print reproduced in rich, bold colours that work in harmony to create a surprising and sophisticated design, perfect for a range of interior spaces. This one is my personal favourite.

Amelie, also introduced in 2006, is another geometric floral patter with shades of aquamarine on a black and white background for a modern, graphic effect. The print, which opens up across six panels, communicates a sense of movement and harmonious continuity.

Onde is based on the design of a scarf originally created in 1969 (how’s that for a timeless classic!!). The Onde patter symbolises the fluid motion of the sea presented in the unexpectedly warm shades of brown, beige, white and black. It’s perfect for a setting that requires a tile with a bold personality.
