Lottocento gives us both………

The interesting thing about these big shows is how often two glimpses on the same stand can produce a variety of emotions. One such experience was on the Lottocento stand in Milan recently. 11

Established in the town of Cittadella in the province of Padua, Northern Italy in the early 1990’s, L’Ottocento produces handmade kitchens, bars and living room furniture in a classic and contemporary style, guided by their passion for wood and a criteria of qualitative excellence. 44

“The finest craft techniques of the old, heritage style of Veneto cabinet-making tradition, with the know-how of technical and aesthetic innovation to bring out the full potential of solid wood and bring to life authentic “tailor-made” creations”, a combination of stylistic sophistication and the highest standards of technology” says their website.22

The two products in question are pictured – I will leave it to you to vote in your own mind on “yes, that works” or “no, that doesn’t”. They use some beautiful products, the meticulous selection of fine woods such as cherry-wood, walnut and oak, always marks the start of a production process focused on quality, and truly utilises the skill of their master carpenters.33

Like many stands you see, there’s always something that catches the eye, and whether you like it or not, its completely down to personal taste. What do you like?
