On display at this year’s FTK (Future Technology for the Kitchen) section of Eurocucina was a new collection of appliances from Beko. Designed by renowned international designer Patricia Urquiola, the company describes this new range as “functional and technical performance meet exclusive design”.
Patricia Urquiola is known for taking inspiration from nature in all her designs and, with this new collection, she has aimed to create the perfect combination of apparently contradictory aspects: functionality and technical performance with appealing design.
Pure, basic geometric forms are partnered with clean, simple, function-oriented and minimalist design to achieve the designer’s goal.
The Cast Line ovens feature large interiors and are equipped with state-of-the-art technology. With smart solutions for everyday living situations, the ovens allow users to choose from five shelf levels and easy-clean options.
The sleek design and cutting-edge technology of the hobs allow for an improved cooking experience. Available in a range of size and configuration options, homeowners can specify what works for their unique needs.
The elegantly-designed Cast hood is engineered to keep kitchens free of unwanted odours with its high ventilation capacity.
Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo, Spain and now lives and works in Milan. She has been nominated for and won various international prizes and her products are displayed in the permanent collections of various museums, including MoMA NY and Triennale Milano. She is highly sought-after by many companies because of her unique and intuitive approach to design.
