New at this year’s “Future Technology for the Kitchen” (FTK) at Eurocucina, is this red-hot number from German appliance manufacturer Küppersbusch. Called “Hot Chilli”, the appliance collection is a limited edition which, as the company says, “brings the colour of passion into the kitchen”.
As a tone, red is an intense colour and is often used as a highlight colour in items such as splashbacks. When partnered, as here, with the rich blacks in the appliances, it makes for an extremely eye-catching end result – as fiery and hot as a chilli.
Eight products in the current range are available with the red design kit with two already awarded the renowned Red Dot Award in the Product Design category – the built-in compact oven and the built-in steam oven.
In addition to the compact units, the fiery red design kit is also available for two chimney cooker hoods as well as an oven. All products in the “Hot Chilli” range are available in Europe from May but no word as yet whether we’ll see them in Australia.
