On Thursday 3rd July members of the design community gathered at The Bennelong At The Opera House for the launch of the newest product in the Zip Industries range – the Zip HydroTap G4. Zip Ambassador Jamie Durie was on hand to detail some of the appliance’s exciting features.

Providing energy-efficient design, water-saving technology and a world-class filtration system the Zip HydroTap G4 allows users to enjoy crystal clear, great tasting water at the touch of a button. The Zip HydroTap G4 features energy-efficient technology which uses 55 per cent less power on standby than earlier models and has a choice of four energy-saving settings. Its new, improved air-cooled system, with inbuilt cross-ventilation, doesn’t dump water to waste making it a great choice for the environmentally conscious.
Zip’s revolutionary G4 technology uses an advanced 0.2 micron filtration system (NSF/ANSI standards 42 and 53) developed to Zip’s exacting specifications which is 25-times more efficient than previous models. It removes chlorine, lead, rust, asbestos fibres, volatile organic compounds and impurities as tiny as five-thousandth of a millimetre, including Cryptosporidium and Giardia. This intelligent design ensures beneficial elements – such as fluoride – remain in the water.
