Tinozza – new concept from Minacciolo

Tinozza-2From one of my favourite kitchen design companies, Minacciolo, comes a new idea called “Tinozza”. Three individual structures comprise a worktop, sink and cooktop for the ultimate in flexible, free-standing cooking.

Tinozza-4The structure is comprised of strips of oak with bands in black steel while the cooktop and work surface version are equipped with hidden wheels. In the work surface and sink versions, the surface is framed with a metal band which is an integral part of the design aesthetic.

Tinozza-3Functionality and asethetics combine with the work surface in black steel, the tub in black metal and the hob with steel burners and a black metal plated surface. The company’s unmistakable “Tomato” knobs allow the user to adjust the intensity and temperature with a few simple movements.

Tinozza-1In the company’s own words: “Everything is functional and designed to offer an innovative product but for confident use”.

The design of these products is very appealing and would lend itself to applications across many situations. I love that it’s a different approach to an outdoor kitchen design with a very definite design aesthetic.
