Last night saw the launch of the new thinkdzine and CDK Stone showroom in Alexandria. More than 120 guests packed into the stunning space to enjoy the hospitality of the hosts, drink in the fabulous kitchens and bathroom products on display, and delight in a special guest appearance by celebrity chef Massimo Mele.
thinkdzine is Sydney’s premier design team for stylish kitchens, bathrooms and living areas. The new showroom features Italian kitchens from Cesar and Italian bathroom products from Teuco as well as a wide range of stone surfaces from CDK Stone.
In attendance at the showroom launch were a variety of members of the kitchen and bathroom industry, media and special guests including Cesar President Dante Cester, Account Manager Claudio Ius and Export Manager Marco Piazza.
“Sydney is one of the most important cities in Australia so a showroom in Sydney is an important part of the strategy of Cesar to develop the Australian market. We started in Melbourne and now this has continued to Sydney and we are so proud to be aligned with these designers, this company and this stunning new space,” says Marco Piazza.
CDK Director, Tony Victor says with everyone time poor, the opportunity to be closer to the design hub of Sydney, for architects, specifiers and the kitchen and bathroom community made this a very simple decision. “In addition we will shortly have online access in the showroom to a true representation of what we actually hold in stock across the country. This means you can chose from a sample here but then actually view online the product and batch you want.” Also very prominent in the showroom is the full range of Neolith products and an excellent range of tiles supplied by CDK Stone.
Jim Kalotheos, National Marketing Manager for Smeg Australia, attended the launch with many of his colleagues and said this showroom showed the Smeg product – showcased throughout – in the best environment. “We look forward to working with the team at thinkdzine and building on the existing relationship that Cesar and Smeg have in Italy,” he added.
It was a truly fabulous night which celebrated the Australian/Italian partnership in style. For now, we’ll let the pictures do the talking but if you get the chance you should drop by the showroom and take a look for yourselves.
