Antonio Lupi is one of my favourite bathware companies because the company always manages to surprise, delight and inspire me with its extensive collection of products. In partnering with a variety of designers, Antonio Lupi is at the forefront of product design across a variety of sectors and its collections always feature something different, unusual and creative.
The company’s new releases for this year’s Cersaie show are no exception and include a new range of baths and basins. The main theme of the collection is “emotion” with the designs featuring wood textures, clever use of lacquered colours and a range of materials to create an intimate and refined atmosphere.
Here the company explains its design philosophy: “All elements, even if different amongst them in material and aesthetics, are united by the design philosophy of a romantic taste in all the elements”.
Armonia console – designed by Roberto Lazzeroni.
Armonia is a Console made from solid American walnut and reflects the elegant themes found throughout Antonio Lupi collections since the 1950s. The wood texture works with the lacquered finishes to create an intimate atmosphere and can be finished with a matt or gloss Ceramilux sink or in glass.
Fuori Strappo – designed by Domenico de Palo.
This new release is a revised version of the Strappo sink designed in 2012 by the same designer and was upgraded to allow the company to offer a sink that seems to come out of the wall. The unit is a single piece that can be freely installed and can be matched in colour to the wall finish.
Bolo basins – designed by Mario Ferrarini.
This collection features four primary shapes: circle, square, rectangle and oval and is made from Ceramilux, a material with a “porcelain” effect that is highly impact resistant and durable.
Edonia bath – designed by Mario Ferrarini.
This stunning bath features the four legs as part of the body of the tub to give the unit a lightness that belies its bulk. The idea was to create a timeless design that would suit all styles of bathroom – from classical to minimalist – within a comfortable, practical and elegant finish. Edonia is made from Cristalplant.
Suite bath – designed by Roberto Lazzeroni.
The Suite bathtub has been introduced in a new range of colours. Made from Cristalplant the baths feature external lacquering and can be made to match the Armonia console.
