The seventh edition of the annual Cristalplant Design Contest is now open. The contest is for all designers and was created by Cristalplant in collaboration with Antonio Lupi, the Italian brand we know and love for its amazing designs in the bathroomware arena. With the aim of discovering innovative projects which use Cristalplant as the base material, the contest is inspired by the style of Antonio Lupi.
Entrants can choose from two categories – Young Designers (those born after 01/01/1980) or Senior Designers (those born before 01/01/1980). Contestants must design either single independent products or a complete line of bathroom furniture using Cristalplant Biobased which can be combined with other materials. No sanitary fixtures or small accessories are accepted.
Participation is free of charge and the intellectual property and copyright of the submitted projects remain with the individual designers. Any expenses for the creation of prototypes or the industrialisation of entries will be borne by Nicos International Company.
The awards will be presented at a prize-giving ceremony which will take place during the 54th edition of Salone del Mobile in Milane, within Fuorisalone. Winners will be presented to the public and press at this ceremony as well as included in the Antonio Lupi catalogue.
