Designed by architect Nicola Stangherlin in conjuction with R&S Minacciolo here is “Wall Play”, a wooden wall panel system created for those who are not satisfied with ready-made solutions.
The goal of the designer and manufacturer was to create a way to furnish a home which expresses the owners own taste and personality, to allow creativity free rein in the choice of fittings and how they are laid out.
Wall Play is billed by the company as the “modern heir to the decorative boiserie” and the collection includes hanging rails, bottle racks, and supports for jars, books and objects of all kinds. In fact, almost anything you could wish to store on a wall can be stored in these simple, yet highly effective, fittings.
Another benefit of a wall mounted system is that all frequently-used items are kept close to hand and easy to reach when needed.
In addition to the three layers of wood, the Wall Play panels can also be constructed from HDF (high density board) covered with a Fenix® layer (a waterproof, fireproof and scratch resistant material). Stainless steel shelves and holders are positioned as required.
The background is available in a wide variety of shades including different wood tones and so can be incorporated into the kitchen layout as suits the design.
