With iSalone 2015 just around the corner, we bring you this interesting and inventive idea from Ronda Design. Magnetika is a new way of furnishing living environments with freedom and creativity. It’s a wall panelling system which can be fitted with shelves and accessories, secured in place through magnetic force and which can be moved to suit individual tastes and requirements.
With Magnetika, there are no rules or restrictions – the individual pieces can be moved at will, on the spur of the moment and as one’s needs change. Countless finishes are available for maximum customisation.
Magnetika is constructed from steel, pre-coated sheet metal, iron, MDF, melamine laminate, wood, structural polyurethane and chipboard. Finishes and colours for the metal support is available in white, sand, ice, traffic grey and slate grey; shelves are available in white, sand, stone grey, London grey, charcoal and stainless steel with mirrors and coat rack also available in orange. Other finishes and colours are available on request.
Designed by the company CEO, Piergiacomo Appoloni, Magnetika can be used in any setting and is suitable for both home and commercial environments. Accessories are available to suit the needs of the living room, entrance hall, kitchen, bathroom, office and bedroom.
It’s important to note that the dispersion of magnetic waves has been minimalised with a screening system to allow for magnetic and electronic devices to be stored trouble-free.
