Ilve has introduced a 76cm pyrolytic electric oven to its ever-expanding built-in appliance range. This new oven caters for dinner parties and families of any size, with its cavity dimensions reminiscent of a traditional American oven.
The 123-litre cavity features a double fan with heating elements to provide superior heat distribution and allow for multi-level cooking with the goal to eliminate oven ‘hot spots’. The full cavity-width grill includes a heat-reflecting surface and allows for the grilling of large portions of meat or fish with low energy consumption. For the complete multi-functional culinary experience, the oven also features six possible grill positions and 13 different oven functions including a pizza a bread baking setting.
Hassle-free self-cleaning is provided with a pyrolytic cycle that can be set at the end of the cooking time and which raises the temperature in the cavity to 475 degrees C to incinerate food residue without leaving unpleasant odours. The self-cleaning cycle can vary from one to three hours, depending on the cleaning intensity required.
At the end of the cycle, users just simply wipe the oven walls with a damp cloth to remove the sediments without the need of harsh cleaning detergents and elbow grease. For greater safety during the cycle, a safety lock is activated automatically on the door, while the tangential fan keeps running until the temperature falls below the required safety level. The oven door also includes four layers of hypothermic glass, meaning a lower temperature to touch on the external glass, even during the self-cleaning cycle.
