Hailo Pantry Box
Designed specifically as a pantry box for food storage, this nifty item attracted much interest on the Hailo stand. The idea was to tackle the challenge of correct storage of non-packaged foods such as fruit, vegetables and breads that are not stored in the fridge but often take up valuable room in bowls on the work surface.
The Pantry Box is a system that consists of a washable plastic box which is the base module. Depending on what is desired to be stored, there are removable plastic bases with drip and ventilation slots or well-designed, high-quality wood racks to customise the drawer. A toughened glass sliding lid covers the contents hygienically yet allows for easy visibility into the drawer. This practical drawer has a nominal depth of 500mm and is supplemented by a removable, portable plastic container that can transport food during preparation, if required.
Hailo Waste Collector
Winner of an iF Design Award 2015, the Hailo built-in waste collector for bathroom cabinets was a worthy recipient. The bathroom cosmetic waste container can be fitted in three ways – either fixed to walls, installed in base units with doors, or in base units with existing drawers. In this way, it is easily retrofitted into existing furniture.
The waste container is made from sturdy white plastic and is available in three heights and three capacities (7, 8 and 10 litres). The practical swing lid automatically closes once an item has been deposited with in it and installation is extremely simple.
