I’m a big fan of Minacciolo’s kitchen creations and I absolutely fell in love with this retro classic bathroom design with its rich palette of textures, soft edges and Dawn Blue finish.
The bathroom is available in a range of finishes from the company’s catalogue – here in the Dawn Blue option – and comprises a number of elements including open columns, a central unit, linen chest and bathtub as well as fittings and fixtures to mix and match.
In this particular example, two freestanding units provide a variety of storage options while the shelf with clothes hooks is strategically placed above the towel warmer. A chest for linen complements the decor together with the padded chairs which speak of a time gone by.
The marble top and traditional-style tapware fit the theme perfectly with the cabinetry constructed from solid wood which the company says comes solely from plantations with controlled reforestation. Simple white Cristal knobs were chosen to enhance the style of the bathroom but the company offers a wide range of handles in its catalogue.
The main vanity unit comprises two open base units with one shelf, one drawer and a real panel together with the sink base unit with doors and a semi-recessed white ceramic sink. To the right sits the “Isabelle” wooden towel stand and “Charlotte” wooden chest.
A small “Albert” round wooden table offers a handy set-down area adjacent to the fibreglass bath with its milled panels and chrome tapware, while the simple crystal chandelier adds a touch of elegance. The “Dover” pouf is padded and covered with sponge for a comfortable resting place.
