Caesarstone launches Book of Details

0314_new_lrCaesarstone has launched its “Book of Details” which includes sketches and images along with a presentation of numerous creative and practical surface applications following four leading trends in the worlds of lifestyle and design – from small urban spaces, to the growing interest in cooking and food, through to the new office space design concept, all the way back to the basic value of sharing.

p42-43_lrThe Islands installation by Raw Edges and Caesarstone which was showcased in Milan in 2014, challenged the very basic concept of kitchen surface use. Instead of placing the different objects above, under or next to the surface, they were incorporated into the stone, turning the surface into the heart and soul of the kitchen and the dominant design element that weaves together all the other components.

p64-65_lrThe Book of Details focuses on elements from the installation, alongside new designs especially developed by Raw Edges.

It was designed like a sketch book, easy to carry, along with a bookmark and room for comments. The reader is invited to draw ideas and inspiration from the book, to examine the material and apply the ideas in practice.

24_lrThe Book of Details is supported by two videos – The “Caesarstone Book of Details for Innovative Kitchen Design” and “Caesarstone Book of Details – How to” both videos inspire and guide designers to explore simple or more involved interpretations of these concepts.

The Book of Details is available to download as a free eBook from the Caesarstone website, or design professionals can request their free copy of the limited edition hardcover book while stocks last. To view the book online please click here.
