Grassi Pietre is without doubt, the great Italian Vicenza stone trademark. The company relies upon quarry sites such as on the Giallo Dorato, Bianco Avorio, Grigio Alpi, Grigio Argento and Pietra del Mare, all founded by the Grassi family ancestors.
Tradition here meets innovation: these sites and other quality marble types are processed with the latest machines and technological devices. Thanks to its competence, passion and know-how, Grassi Pietre creates elegant, effective and long-lasting solutions for clients and designers who entrust the company with their projects.
And to add beauty to history, Grassi Pietre this week, released some images of products they will release at Marmomacc, the annual stone show held in the beautiful town of Verona, Italy in late September.
Light-colored with shades of beige, Bianco Avorio is the traditional Pietra di Vicenza . Mostly used for classical sculptures, it is also suitable for internal and external cladding, stairs, floors and any other constructional element . It is the result of the sedimentation of different fossils, Vicenza stone Bianco del Mare has a uniform basis thanks to its fine grain, due to the presence of fossilized algae and it characterized by its “flowery” aspect – and that my friends isn’t the technical version, just the one written after a long lunch by their marketing department!
Grassi Pietre have been around since 1850, their artisan knowledge combined with new technologies, are transforming designers’ and architects’ ideas into reality, creating with them and for them, endless innovative solutions. Expertise, passion and deep knowledge of stones and marble allow their company to create effective, elegant and durable material designs, offering full-service solutions: on-site surveys, accurate planning of single components and construction details, material selection and project production.
