Kesseböhmer’s iMove offers 100% access to wall units thanks to fittings that move intelligently. iMove is Kesseböhmeer’s solution to items stored on upper shelves that may be out of reach. The innovative shelf fitting swings downwards and out so the contents of upper shelves are instantly accessible.
Functional, practical and good looking, iMove has already been awarded the “iF product design award 2015”.
Users can store items weighing up to 8 kg on the iMove shelves with no force adjustment necessary. Because the lower zone of the wall unit, and especially the bottom shelf, does not move, but is not blocked by the iMove, it makes good ergonomic sense to store heavy items there – such as stacks of plates.
Thanks to the integrated spring force support, the iMove’s downward and upward movements are extremely smooth, easy and fluid whether empty or fully loaded. Users grasp the hand-friendly handle, attached to the railing to exert the light pressure required for the downward or upward movement. Finger-pinch protection ensures entirely safe operation.
One special feature – the railing that stops stored items falling out, drops down automatically as the fitting moves downwards and out. As a result, there’s no obstacle to quick and easy access.
If required, the fully-extended “iMove” can be locked into its end position, keeping all the contents safely and reliably accessible. Users then have both hands free to load and unload the wall unit.
The “iMove” fitting is available as one- or two-shelf variants. The single tray set (one shelf) is supplied for wall units 50cm, 60cm, 80cm and 90cm wide and from 470mm high (depending on installation configuration. The double tray set, with two shelves, for wall units 710 mm and higher, is available for 50cm or 60cm wide wall units.
