Schweigen has announced new additions to its range of motors designed for silent rangehoods. The new motors complement the existing line of external Isodrive motors to give the consumer extended variety of configurations when selecting their silent rangehood.
The new models are the ST and the SE motors – “Standard” delivers an airflow rate of 900m3/hr and only uses 65 watts of power. “Extreme” boasts a massive 3200m3/hr of suction and only uses 150 watts.
ST – Light Cooking (Standard external motor)
The motor housing is made from ASA, the most durable of plastics in direct sunlight. The electrics are totally concealed and not affected by the weather. Motor comes with 200mm flexi ducting (6m), solid roof extension pipe and bell housing. Type of installation: roof, wall and eaves.
SE – Ultimate Cooking (Extreme external motor)
The motor housing is powder-coated galvanised steel, which can be painted to any colour of your choice. The electrics are totally condealed. Motor comes with 250mm flexi ducting (4m), solid roof extension pipe, Y-joint (250x200x200mm), two x 200mm flexi ducting (1.5m). Types of installation: roof and wall (restrictions apply for wall installation). Primarily used with Barbecue and Cassette rangehoods.
All motors from Schweigen are energy efficient, manufactured in Germany and feature a 10 year warranty.
