I know we’re heading into our warmer months but this popped into my inbox and I loved the creativity of these designs I thought it would be nice to share them anyway.
From Antrax IT comes a collection of designer fireplaces that make the fireplace a central design element of the home.
Maunakea is a design created in collaboration with Francesco Lucchese and is inspired by the classic profile of a volcano: a conical trunk that can be installed on the wall and looks like flames are coming out of the crater, giving any room a scenographic effect.
Bubble, is a lit-up metal bubble that looks like the celestial phenomena of fireballs. Designed by Andrea Crosetta, it is a spectacular item. In black steel with heatproof paints, it is open and can be installed on a wall or ceiling, maintaining a strong sculptural effect.
Wall_B, also by Andrea Crosetta, looks like a minimal box resting on the wall, whose elongated rectangular hole emphasizes the romantic crackling of the fire and the perfumes of burnt wood essences. The shelf sticking out is a clean line designed to underline the mouth where the combustion takes place.
Drop is the fireplace that recalls the classic bonfires of our youth. Designed by Massimo Iosa Ghini, Drop successfully reproduces the idea of typical fire in open spaces. Drop is the only one of the models presented not available in the bioethanol version, a natural green fuel that produces a similar effect to the one generated by traditional flames.
A range of accessories and components including grilles, support brackets, rugs to be placed near the fire to protect the floor surface and gaskets, therefore facilitate lighting and controlling combustion with utmost safety and convenience.
