- TASTIC NEO UNITS
The sleek Tastic Neo combines heat, ventilation and light in one elegant, flush- mounted steel and glass unit. Featuring IXL’s advanced Ventair In-line Exhaust technology, it ensures quiet operation and the peak performance and is one of the most powerful in-line bathroom fans in the domestic market.
Available in a contemporary silver or white finish, the units incorporate three 7w mercury free LED light globes, which provide a cool, neutral and true-to-colour quality light source. Using 30-50% less energy than a comparable CFL and 80-90% less energy than a comparable halogen light, the Tastic® Neo also ensures lower energy consumption and a long life span of approximately 25,000-30,000 hours per globe.
The unit is fully sealed against moisture from steam, which makes it a perfect solution for areas such as bathrooms, and its cutting edge technology works to expel humid air and steam before it has a chance to condense. This helps reduce the chances of mould, mildew and the build up of stale air.
- TASTIC NEO MODULES
IXL’s Tastic Neo Modules provide the flexibility for consumers to customise their own bathroom environment. Ventilation, heating or lighting components can be selected as stand-alone solutions or coordinated with existing IXL Neo single or dual units.
Neo modules can be added to or subtracted from dual and single Tastic Neo units to provide the perfect level of comfort for individual preferences and bathroom layouts. For example, additional task lighting or ventilation can be installed above a shower. This flexible option is particularly useful in large, open-plan bathrooms where additional capacity may be required.
IXL’s Neo Tastic® modules include
Vent n lite module, which features three 7w LED downlights, a side ducted inline blower, draft shutters and 380m3/h extraction capacity. This module is ideal for bathrooms with an existing source of heat, such as hydronic or in- floor heating. It can also be incorporated as a duo or as individual modules.
Vent module, which includes a side ducted in-blower, back draught shutters and 380m3/h extraction capacity. This module is suited to bathrooms that may already have a central light source and only require ventilation, or it can be used as an additional source of ventilation directly above a shower.
Heat module, which features 1 x 800 Tungsten Halogen Heat Lamp with a frosted, toughened glass heat shield. For addition decadence, the heat module can be positioned above a bath or above a preferred drying spot.
