Ceramica Althea has released a preview of one of the exciting products to be showcased on its stand at this year’s Salone del Bagno at iSalone in Milan. The stand will feature new products and applications for the company’s innovative, patented Plus+Ton® material.
This is the Kassell “sit on top” basin. Its simple shape and sinuous lines belie the refined design that is behind the beauty of this basin. Less pronounced lines, round corners and thin rims increase the basin’s capacity providing a spacious, comfortable basin that fulfills its functional requirements.
The Plus+Ton® surface is the company’s most recent and most important innovation and Ceramica Althea is showcasing its many uses and applications. The company says “The Kassel washbasin will differ from any other basin in circulation because of the extraordinary properties of the ceramic with which it is produced”.
Plus+Ton® is a completely scratch-proof, stain-proof, slip-proof and bacterial-resistant ceramic surface. It is an eco-friendly material able to provide long-term durability which the company says can “replace with ease products manufactured with highly pollutant and non-recyclable materials such as resins and solvents”.
The Kassel “sit on top” washbasin can be combined with the company’s WorkTop that perfectly fits any furniture unit, ensuring a fast positioning.
For those visiting the show, Ceramica Althea will be at stand L12 in Hall 24, Salone del Mobile Milan (Rho Fiera) from 12-17 April 2016.
