As many companies prepare to begin the month-long bump in process for iSalone, sit back and enjoy this Dada EuroCucina preview – Hi-Line VVD
Designer Vincent Van Duysen has been challenged to take Dada’s best selling Hi-Line kitchen and give it a new interpretation. The Belgian designer was involved in the success of Molteni & C’s Gliss Master night system as well as the design of the company’s stand in Cologne so it was a logical step to partner with him to breathe a new life into the Hi-Line kitchen.
The new design features a dynamic, sophisticated elegance which is achieved with a lovely contrast between the slim side and end units plus the considerable thickness of the worktops. It’s interesting to see the worktops beginning to thicken again after many years of thinner-than-thin benchtops dominating the design field.
A range of materials gives the Dada Hi-Line kitchen its unique ambiance with a combination of natural stone, wood grains and black aluminium creating a visually engaging finish.
Hi-Line VVD features new elements such as open-ended drawers and base units, under-top trolleys, shelves, glass cabinets and an accessorisable stone sink, all of which enhance the appeal of its new design.
