The Catalano washbasin collection is the latest “Green” range from leading Italian bathware manufacturer, Catalano, available exclusively in Australia from Rogerseller. The collection consists of seven elegant and versatile washbasins that embody Catalano’s commitment to its ‘Think Green’ philosophy which strives towards environmental sustainability.

Characterised by an ultra-thin edge and continuous curves, the collection is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The thin edges allow for the maximum use of space, while the continuous curve in its design prevents stagnation in water flow. The collection is versatile as all washbasins can be bench-mounted while three offer the additional versatility of wall-hung installation.

Inspired by nature and Catalano’s eco-friendly ‘Think Green’ philosophy, Green is the culmination of Catalano’s vigorous pursuit to create a ‘lifecycle designed’ collection.  The concept of the ‘Lifecycle Design’ is carried out through Catalano’s commitment to planning production phases as much as possible, while constantly innovating to reduce waste and minimise environmental impact.

The ‘Think Green’ philosophy has been infused into Catalano’s entire production model since 2013. From concept to pre-production, production, transportation, use, and recycling during the production cycle, Catalano is committed to optimising performance while reducing its environmental footprint.

With more than 40 years experience in designing and producing luxury ceramics in Italy, Catalano is at the forefront of crafting innovative, high quality products.  Recently, the company has introduced a new glazing treatment, ‘Cataglaze’, which also subscribes to its ‘Think Green’ philosophy. At 1250°C the glazing agent blends with the ceramic itself, resulting in a unique, ultra-even finish, making it 100% impenetrable and 100% bacteria-proof. The Cataglaze finish is quick and easy to clean and users will see a reduction in the use of harmful detergents as well as a reduction in the pollution waste released into the environment.

Basin sizes include: 100mm x 50mm, 80mm x 50mm, 60mm x 50mm, 60mm x 38mm, 50mm x 38mm, Ø 48mm, and Ø 42mm.
