This is the new Texturae designer wallpaper, conceived and created by Daniele Morabito and Dario Pulitanò, two young entrepreneurs from Reggio Calabria who decided to match the innovative visuals of graphic designers and artists with the latest technology, to create a new product: Texturae.
Far from the conventional role of accessory, the designers anticipate the Texturae designer wallpaper – to be introduced at this year’s Fuorisalone of Milan – as a design complement to enhance a range of interior spaces. The company says, “walls and surfaces therefore become the place for a personal aesthetic experience, capable of turning a conventional space into a sensorial journey”.
The Texturae designer wallpaper has been created in three collections that enhance an artistic, aesthetic experience: the sober, deeply material Weft; the iconic, highly decorative Warp; and the surprisingly cheerful, slightly dreamlike Yarn. Three collections, but one distinctive, unique texture.
The Weft Collection features wooden veins and carvings, shining marbles and solid concrete. The intimate nature of these materials results in original, innovative surfaces. Discreet geometries, light shapes and delicate perspective create a new concept of light, undoubtedly the key element of this collection.
Intense colors, extreme overlaps, shapes becoming icons, perspectives heading towards the
infinite: it is impossible not to notice the strong character of the Warp Collection. These wallpapers are defined by unique, highly decorative lines, with a balance between a range of visual mediums.
The Yarn Collection wallpapers have been created to surround children with everyday beauty, but it is also dedicated to those adults who enjoy charming, bright, fairytale atmospheres. Cheerful design, fantasy texture, colorful tales: Yarn creates open windows overlooking different magic worlds.
