The new Makro “Life” shower is a shower system designed for universal use and is one which redefines space and integrates function in new ways. Designed by Giulio Gianturco, the Makro “Life” shower sees functionality and need coexist with design and aesthetics to result in a shower which becomes a place of wellness for all.
“Life” is a shower project with rigorous design credentials plus a focus on the functional aspects to answer the demands of those who love to indulge in an all-around shower, always keeping in mind the needs of children, the elderly and people with temporary impairment.
The company says the Makro “Life” shower is a combination of elegance, minimalism and pure precision which allows its users to pursue wellbeing with a coherent and pragmatic approach.
The shower consists of a integrated system which contains a shower tray, technical wall and transparent crystal shower enclosure. A unique floor flush shower tray, made from solid surface, is (the company says) the real innovation.
Users can wash and dry in comfortable, relaxing surroundings – either alone or when assistance is required. Thanks to a revolving platform, the user can rotate while sitting on the elegant stool with lateral handles and use the different integrated functions. It offers the user freedom of movement without forgoing aesthetics and design features. The rotating tray can be blocked or unblocked using the lock and block system.
The Body Dryer integrated in the technical wall allows the user to dry off without using any towel, while being inside the shower in a warm and comfortable space where it is also possible to have a look in the mirror, shave and dry the hair.
Designer Giulio Gianturco conceived the idea of the Makro “Life” shower after noticing the current shower systems on the market did not offer such a range of space and integrated functions in an aesthetic and practical sense.
The shower is constructed from Makril, wood and steel and measures 120 cm x 90cm or 160cm x 90cm.
