Rexa Design was once again on display at this year’s Salone Bagno with new products that explore natural colours in combination with a variety of materials including DuPont ™ Corian®, or Korakril ™, clay, earthenware and Murano glass. Here are some of the highlights from its stand.
Hamman – design Monica Graffeo
Hamman is a collection that utilises a soft, baked clay together with white velvety Corian or polished marble to create an atmosphere of well-being and beauty in the bathroom area. The collection is billed as a “multisensory collection for a modular system that allows maximum freedom of expression and functional design in the bathroom”.
Fonte – design Monica Graffeo
Fonte represents the Japanese philosophy of water, where the bathroom is a place where one can take care of wellbeing and where accessories create a vital and harmonious landscape.
Murano Washbasin/Esperanto & Moode bathroom furniture – design Monica Graffeo
Esperanto and Moode bathroom furniture are featured with a new washbasin made from Murano glass, blown by Murano’s glass masters and shaped in wooden moulds created specifically for Rexa Design. The basin is available in two colours – gray and bronze.
D Taglio – design Susanna Mandelli
Water as a natural element inspires the D Taglio washbasin designed by Susanna Mandelli for Rexa Design. The basin is in Corian or Carrara marble. The inclined plane allows the natural water drain out, sliding it towards the natural spill.
R1 – design Monica Graffeo
R1 is a collection that features a variety of units, bathtub, basins, shower trays, mirrors and lighting for the bathroom and spans entry-level finishes such as laminate to high-end finishes such as marble or Corian. R1 includes a new collection of basins in white or colours Corian, Korakril Pure White or in combinations such as marble/Corian as with the basins and bathtub pictured which are made from Corian and covered with marble.
