Miele Australia has been recognised at the coveted Australian Good Design Awards, making this the greatest number of awards achieved by any one brand at the 2016 Awards presentation by Good Design Australia.
Miele won the Awards in the Domestic Appliance category for –
- DGD 4635 Pressure Steam Oven
- WMV 960 WPS washing machine
- TMV 840 WP heat pump dryer
- B 2847 FashionMaster steam ironing system
In addition, the Miele DA 6700 D Aura island rangehood and DA 2690 EXT extractor were acknowledged as Good Design Finalists.
This outstanding awards’ achievement recognises excellence in the design and innovation of these Miele appliances as judged by a panel of industry experts whose specialist fields include industrial design, engineering design, software electronics design and architectural design.
Miele Head of Category Management, Sacha Leagh-Murray expressed Miele’s pride in the brand’s domination at this year’s Australian Good Design Awards: “We are thrilled to receive these prestigious accolades which reward the outstanding efforts of the Miele Design Centre in Germany.
