Australian International Design Tours (AIDT) is pleased to announce the 2017 International Tour to Interzum in Cologne, Germany. You are invited to participate in this unique experience hosted by AIDT and proudly supported by SCM Group, Hansgrohe and HIA.
See the very latest releases in surface colours and textures, new hardware, emerging
technologies and lighting at Interzum.
Joiners/cabinetmakers start the tour in Rimini, Italy at the home of SCM Group then travel to Interzum and on to Hanover, Germany to attend Ligna courtesy of SCM Group Australia where they will see the latest machinery, plant and tools for the woodworking and timber processing industry.
Designers/retailers will spend time at Interzum then enjoy true German hospitality while gaining insight into Hansgrohe’s worldwide manufacturing, distribution and development operations including showroom and factory visits.
Interzum – The Show
Interzum provides the furniture industry a voice for the latest innovations and creations. Held biennually in the historic German city of Cologne, this four day show allows designers, interior designers and cabinet makers the opportunity to touch and feel the latest offerings from the world’s furniture and cabinet making suppliers. Interzum is the show where visitors from around the world go to determine what products will be available to their clients in the years to come.
Hansgrohe
The Hansgrohe Group is based in Schiltach in Germany’s Black Forest and focuses on two internationally renowned brands — Axor and Hansgrohe. Join us as we tour the company’s head office, showroom and factory facilities as well as a trip to the history and bathroom museum and a first-hand look at the latest products released at ISH, plus find inspiration at the Aquademie with displays from famous designers like Antonio Citterio, Patrica Urquiola, Bouroullec Brothers, Philippe Starck, Jean-Marie Massaud, Barber Oscaby etc…
Ligna — The Show
Ligna is the world’s leading trade fair for machinery, plant and tools for the woodworking and timber processing industry and is held in the same year as Interzum. This is your one-stop shop for innovations from across the globe, where you’ll come into direct contact with leading specialists and top industry executives. In addition you’ll be treated to impressive presentations of machinery and equipment, plus the latest woodworking and wood processing products and solutions as well as an extensive supporting program.
SCM Group Australia
SCM Group is one of the largest machinery suppliers in the world and is renowned as a specialist in its field. Its expertise stretches across cabinetmaking and furniture manufacturing through to composite materials and glass and stone processing. Headquartered in Italy, SCM Group manages a worldwide network of manufacturing plants, sales outlets, service divisions and technicians. Tour members will enjoy rare ‘behind the scenes’ access to R&D, manufacturing and production, and see first-hand what goes into making the machines in your workshop.
