Ram Tapware, Eccentric by Rogerseller defies convention to pay homage to the quirky genius of the greatest minds in history.
“Albert Einstein’s bizarre habit of picking up used cigarettes, Nikola Tesla’s daily toe exercises and Yoshiro Nakamatsu’s oxygen depriving deep dives are acts that tell of the individualism, wonder and curiosity found in many great scientists, explorers and inventors, and the rebellion against convention that defines them,“ comments Rogerseller Product Designer, Nick Johnston, on his inspiration behind the design.
When engaged, Eccentric by Rogerseller embraces quirky genius by progressively revealing an unexpected back-plate featuring cold and hot indicators, thanks to its axis uniquely positioned off-centre. Once the handle is returned to its closed position, the unconventional back-plate is hidden once again.
Using German progressive cartridge technology, Eccentric by Rogerseller supports energy
saving by opening in a low pressure, cold position which increases in pressure with the turn of
the dial. Past the middle mark, and the addition of warm water is introduced, increasing as the dial moves to its furthest open position. Progressive cartridges’ energy saving benefits are particularly visible when used in basins when warm water isn’t always required.
With a subtle fin to match finger contours, the mixer provides the necessary leverage when
slippery. The mixer can be wall or bench mounted and used across basin, bath or shower applications while the subtle curves of the wall mounted bath and basin outlets complete the timeless and universal aesthetic.
