Kreoo Kora bathtub

From the company we love to love, comes the Kreoo Kora bathtub; an elegant ellipsoidal marble bathtub whose shape evokes the ancient Tibetan bells. Designed by Enzo Berti and originally displayed at iSalone in 2016, the Kreoo Kora bathtub celebrates the lightness of marble and is an elegant addition to the bathroom environment.

Born as a complement to Kreoo’s Gong sinks, Kora takes its name from a traditional musical instrument of West Africa, which is also characterised by an elliptical shape.

The reference to the music, and specifically to the sound of water, with its quiet and silent impetuosity, is the soundtrack of a new way of experiencing the bathroom, where Kora is its main protagonist.

Kreoo Kora bathtubAs in Gong, Kora is cut from one single solid block, carved with a meticulous and fine technique, achieved by digging the stone, firstly with specialised technology and then handcrafted for details and finishes. The tub rests on an iron tripod that supports its volume, giving stability and elegance.

Kreoo Kora bathtubSuspended from the floor, despite the strength of the material, the Kreoo Kora bathtub evokes a new lightness. Marble is free from its weight and floats in the air. At last year’s iSalone, Kora was presented in Bianco Estremoz but is available in other finishes such as Bianco Carrara and Grey St Marie.
