The Snaidero Frame kitchen was designed by architect Iosa Ghini to put a bold contemporary slant on the classic kitchen. It reflects the neo-chic style which references the iconic elements of classic design but the framed door coupled with the recessed handles give the kitchen a modern edge.
Of particular note is the combination of gloss and matte lacquer finishes that enhance the exquisite beauty of the surface tops while the large extractor hood, available in bronze or stainless steel, provides the work area with a stylishly character-driven focal point.
As a project, the Snaidero Frame kitchen encapsulates the ambience of a classic contemporary kitchen that pays homage to traditional furnishings but includes functional elements that reflect a modern and refined aesthetic.
The cabinet has a classic framed door, while the recessed handles exude a modern air, a sharp clean silhouette and a timeless appeal. The warm welcoming atmosphere of the Frame kitchen also transpires from the pieces of furniture decorating the spaces which encroach into the living area: sideboards with glass doors, display cabinets and open cupboards all add beauty to the surrounds.
The project offers a range of finishes and materials for the cabinets (all the matte,
glossy and mica-based lacquers and two refined wood options) and boasts a design versatility which means that the project can be adapted to everyone’s requirements, catering for a quiet classic taste right through to a more upbeat modern and industrial-chic version.
Massimo Iosa Ghini (Bologna, 1959) is an architect, graduating at the Polytechnic of Milan. His design and architecture projects have received acclaim from Compasso D’Oro award ADI, and recognition from the Good Design Award by the Chicago Athenaeum, the Red Dot Award and the iF Product Design Award, Germany, the Roscoe Award, U.S.A., the IAI AWARD Green Design Global Award and the IAI Awards, Shanghai, China.
