There’s not much this company produces that I don’t absolutely love and the new designs for the Scarabeo Bucket 2018, which will be on display at this year’s iSalone in Milan, certainly do not disappoint.
Designed by Giovanna Talocci, this cute and playful basin is a joyful shape that recalls the idea of a bucket and caught our attention in 2014 when it was released at the same show. Now, the unique, inimitable Scarabeo Bucket collection is enriched with new decorations for its 30cm and 40.5cm diameter versions.
In line with Scarabeo’s mission – which has brought the Italian design in several foreign markets around the world – designers Giovanna Talocci and Marco Pallocca pay homage to nine of the most important cities of the planet, decorating the surface of the ceramic buckets with the skylines of Rome, London, Paris, Dubai, New York, Shanghai, Sydney, Tokyo, and Moscow.
Designed as a perfect solution for contract projects or private homes, every day these models will make you think about the city you live in or love the most.
The new collection is completed with two especially amusing decorations. The first one portrays a multicolour rocket launched towards the sky, as a symbol of dynamism and joy. The second one plays with a “bucket” full of water where multicoloured fish swim, peacefully slipping away from anyone who tries to catch them.
Thanks to its clean, yet amusing line, and to the wide range of decorations available, Bucket gives your bathroom an original, casual touch, both in private and public spaces. I’m excited to see what else is on display at iSalone when we visit in April next year so stay tuned.
