The Cristalplant® Design Contest is for young creatives born after 1/1/1983 and aims to identify innovative projects that match Falper’s style and language and use the Cristalplant® material in a new, productive and functional way.
Designs can be entered in a number of categories including countertop, wall-mounted and freestanding washbasins; wall-mounted and countertop hand basins; bathtubs. The winning designs for each of these categories will be included in Falper catalogues. The winners and those who receive any honourable mentions (up to five) will be awarded during this year’s Salone del Mobile in Milan, at the exclusive FuoriSalone, on April 18, 2018.
The Cristalplant® Design Contest judges, for the tenth edition of the competition, include famous ambassadors in the world of architecture, design and communication both in Italy and internationally.
Luca Fallavena, Falper Managing Director, and Vittorio Pavarin, Cristalplant® Marketing Manager, will be joined by Tobias Luts, Founder and Managing Director of Architonic.com (an architecture portal with more than 300,000 design products and materials), Alessandro Chiarato, Director of Design at IED (European Higher Education Institute which trains students in fashion, visual arts, and design and management), and Nico Marchesi, Creative at Saatchi & Saatchi (one of the world’s most prestigious advertising agencies).
The judging panel will be assisted by the presents of sales experts such as Marco Poltronieri, Falper Export Manager, Riccardo Biffi, Falper Italy Sales Director, and José Gonzalez, Falper AG Managing Director. These additional experts will ensure the event has a focus on the real practical and commercial needs of the future market.
