So it comes as no surprise that one of Lincoln Sentry’s most popular brands – Gollinucci, continues the Italian tradition of manufacturing quality products.
Lincoln Sentry Category Manager Sophie Willis said she had witnessed the transformation of a modest, Italian-focussed plastics business into the forward-thinking international production house it is today.
“Lincoln Sentry and Gollinucci have been working together for well over a decade to provide clever storage solutions for our customers. Our relationship is such that Lincoln Sentry work alongside Gollinucci to design storage solutions that we know will be ideally suited to our customers,” she said.
“The level of trust and respect shared between Gollinucci and Lincoln Sentry can be rare to find in today’s business world,” said Sophie.
Since 2014 Gollinucci has been under the guidance of second generation owner Giacomo Gollinucci, who has taken great pride and care in expanding the family business his father Alberto created in 1973.
“Like many small businesses my father started Gollinucci in our home city of Cesena. Initially it was just himself making inexpensive accessories for the kitchen, before expanding into manufacturing plastic components for European ovens,” he said.
“In recent years my company’s growth strategy has gained significant momentum. Today there is 50 of us working out of our newly configured plant that covers more than 10,000m². While there might be more of us working at Gollinucci and we are developing different products, our philosophy remains the same as the day my father started – to design and manufacture furnishing accessories which help make peoples’ lives easier every day“.
