The stunning antoniolupi Lumen shower, designed by Marco Pisati, is the epitome of water, light and well-being. Taking its inspiration from water and colour creating well-being and relaxation for body and mind, the antoniolupi Lumen shower becomes a light that shines, that attracts and catches the eye and could even be described as a satellite that orbits in space.
Lumen is an overhead shower characterised by a coloured central nucleus, around which the nozzles are arranged. These sit inside a hemispherical shell from which a special jet of water converges towards the centre – the company describes it as if “attracted by a magnetic field” – but it is actually directed by the orientation of the jet.
Working on the theory of chromotherapy and the relaxing effect of the combination of water and light, the antoniolupi Lumen shower gives the bathroom a sophisticated elegance and almost an aura of magic. When lit, it becomes the centrepiece of the shower but when turned off, it disappears from sight and becomes almost invisible.
The design works on the basis of the perfect geometry of a thin ring which creates a circle in the ceiling. At 60cm diameter, the antoniolupi Lumen shower provides a luxury showering experience and enhances the design of any modern or contemporary bathroom. It is created in AISI 304 stainless steel and features LED RGB lights.
