The Agape DR tub is a flexible two-seat tub which can be customised externally utilising an exciting material – Terra Cruda – from Matteo Brioni.
Matteo Brioni is a company that specialises in natural finishes for architecture and interior design and works extensively with the Terra Cruda product. The material comes from a careful pre-selection of clay and aggregates from various sources which are then mixed to create the chromatic, tactile and functional qualities for which the product is known.
The DR tub, a project by Marcio Kogan and Studio MK27 for Agape, was intended to create a friendly, sensual and charismatic object for the bathroom. The tub’s soft, sinuous lines create an immediate sense of relaxation and wellness.
Perfect for living and work interiors, the Terra Cruda products are suitable for both new buildings and renovations, being particularly compatible with many types of pre-existing materials. It flexibly adapts to a range of surfaces as a natural second skin, making it perfect for application in the bathroom.
The DR tub is created in white solid surface with an external structure in poplar plywood with finishes in natural oak, brown oak or dark oak, and is also available in pre-composed wood with a teak finish, or soft-touch lacquer in white, light grey or dark grey.
