The new Image system by Euromobil, as seen earlier this year at Eurocucina, takes a new look at the concept of a bookcase in the kitchen. A new open system that would look great in any room of the house, the Image system by Euromobil is particularly relevant for kitchen design as a way to bridge the kitchen to adjoining rooms.
Designed by Roberto Gobbo, the distinguishing features of the Image system are its elegance and versatility with its system of open shelves comprising an ultra-slim metal framework with upright supports and horizontal shelving. The effect is of a rigorous geometrical grid featuring regular rectangular units reminiscent of the rationalist culture of the first half of the twentieth century.
The slim 2mm and 12mm thick shelves, with a capacity of 30kg, rest freely on a structure powder coated in embossed white, embossed black or brill bronze, immediately recalling the archetypical bookcase. They are available matte lacquered, in wood or metal in the same colours as the framework.
The essential shape of IMAGE, its stability and modularity, also available in bespoke heights, make it an easily assembled, practical and versatile system. Its configuration can be changed at any time, and it can stand alone in any part of the house, against a wall, in the centre of a room or integrated into a kitchen unit.
